Hey Leo,
Have you listened to the 2 part Online Ordering Podcast?? We cover this exact issue. Part II covers how Domino's work to get people to pick up by charging really high prices for delivery. This is definitely a good option, decreasing the the number of drivers that you need.

Hi James,

will FROLO work in the UK?

I think we are here still in a Dilemma.
Even we get more orders from our own website how do we solve the issue with finding reliable drivers?
Since the rise of companies like Ubereats and Deliveroo its getting harder and harder to find drivers who will work with you or they ask for way more money.
Seems to me they rather work for those companies because they get flexibility and apparently they earn well with them as well.

Whats your suggestion to this problem ( actually the most important part of the whole delivery )

Hi Rob,
There are plenty of restaurants who are dedicating the 13% commission that Grubhub is charging to their own marketing budget. They get the email address which means it is a lot easier to drive repeat transactions and they are saving on the commission. In the long run, it can be a lot more effective. Some restaurants use both, Grubhub for the network and FROLO for their own website.

It seems crazy to pay commission for orders from your own loyal customers every week and more importantly, it isn't long term sustainable. We are seeing a lot of restaurants offering order direct from the restaurant and save, and that can work really well too.

how will this help if you are a new restaurant and dont have a presence yet? companies like grubhub give you exposure to a market you usually wouldnt have especially as a new restaurant. so yes free is great but youre pretty much on your own trying to get customers to do the online orders to our site

Hi Jeff, We don't have any in Canada using FROLO, but we do in the US and Stripe, which is the payment gateway we use works great with CAD. It is designed so that each location for the chain would have a separate accounts, but we support master accounts so that head office can have visibility of the metrics for each of the restaurants.
